Guanacaste Province, Costa Rica
Guancaste was Sabrina, CEO and Founder of Luxury Travel Brand Sabrina Luxury Collection and Haute Retreats as well as Luxury Travel Blog Travel Luxury Villas, and her family’s home for four years. It is not wonder why, since this corner of Costa Rica, the northwestern, features beach-meets-jungle coastline, splendid array of biodiversity, the warm climate and the happy people.
The Liberia’s airport is only 20 minutes drive from the Peninsula Papagayo where villas like the private residence part of the Four Seasons are part of Haute Retreats and also the beautiful Andaz resort. The beautiful beaches of Playa Flamingo and Playa Conchal are 45 minutes away where we do offer accommodations right within Reserva Conchal resort. A new luxury boutique hotel in the small town of Las Catalinas will open soon the Santarena Hotel.
Vietnam, Vinh Hy Bay
The landscape of Vinh Hi Bay is similar to the Adriatic coast or Sardinia with large boulders dramatically sticking out of the green flora. Known as one corner of the tourism triangle, Vinh Hy Bay still remains unspoiled due to its proximity to the Nui Chua National Park. The first half of the drive from the ariport is non-descript, but suddenly you hit the coastal road and a part of Vietnam is revealed unlike you’ve ever seen. The last 30 mintutes of the drive to Amanoi are spectacular with 5-6 large sweeping bays with the road rugging the coast all the way. There are some good coral reefs for diving and snorkeling in the area, but fishing is the main trade here. The National Park is a great place for hiking of any standard. As an eco-tourist spot the bay has preserved its rural beauty with white sandbanks circling steep rocky mountains and extensive green forests. Located 55 kilometres south of Cam Ranh Airport, it is only a 1.5 hour drive.
Amalfi Coast, Italy
Amalfi Coast is an example of a Mediterranean landscape combining of great beauty and gripping drama: coastal mountains plunge into the sea in a stunning vertical scene of precipitous crags, picturesque towns and lush forests.
Legendary Positano and Amalfi are among the glittering string of coastal gems, while mountaintop Ravello has the glossy fame of its grandiose villas and Wagnerian connection.
Amalfi Coast gateway Sorrento is a handsome and venerable cliff-top resort that has miraculously survived the onslaught of package tourism.
Aside from its sheer beauty, the region is home to some superb restaurants and hotels. It is also one of Italy’s top spots for hiking, with well-marked trails providing a great means of getting away from the coastal clamour.
Turquoise Coast, Turkey
Vacationing in a country that bridges the great continental land masses of Europe and Asia can be unforgettable. Most tourists vacationing in Turkey often go back there to savor the flavors again. Surrounded by sea on three sides and its capital Istanbul resting on the Bosphorus Strait, the magnificent view of the sea on either side is simply beautiful and breathtaking. Istanbul was the capital of the Ottoman Empire for a few hundred historical years.
Turkey integrates an internal body of water also known as the Marmara Sea. Located in North-West Turkey, the Uludag Mountain is one of the most well-known ski resorts in the area. The coastline of South-Western Turkey on the Aegean Sea, also known as the Turkish Riviera is home to Izmir, the largest city in Turkey. The Turkish Riviera houses many modern styled holiday destinations like Kusadasi and Bodrum.
The most important historic attraction of Turkey is the remnants of Troy that can be found along the northern and central areas of Aegean region. One can see 9 Troys that were built over different periods on top of the previous ones. As all of us know, the very popular and famous historical love story of beautiful Helen and Paris of Troy had caused wars in this region in ancient times. The epitome of style and luxury, with its own unique décor, there are 3 en-suite bedrooms, indoor and outdoor bathrooms, a media room, sitting/dining area with ‘wine bar’, and huge infinity pool spanning the front of the villa.
The Niseko United ski resorts are widely recognised as offering some of the most consistent, light, dry powder snow conditions in the world. And it is not just quality of snow that Niseko is famous for, but quantity too. Photographs of snow covered vehicles, and even buildings are favourites on social media every season. Visitors to Niseko share in the excitement of what can feel like an endless supply of beautifully light, fluffy snow. Relaxing in an onsen or with a glass of wine during dinner and watching the snow fall outside the window, anticipating even more waist deep, untracked powder, is just one of many reasons people return every year.
Sri Lanka is one of the best places anywhere to spot blue whales, with a 90% chance of seeing the world’s largest mammals as they feed in the plankton-rich waters around Mirissa on the island’s south coast between November and May.
Sri Lanka could be described as one of the most beautiful islands around the world. It is set just off the southern Indian fringe at about 600 miles north of the equator in the Indian Ocean. There is strong evidence that human civilization has existed in this tiny island nation for over 2000 years now. The island’s teeming natural beauties, a great legacy of its historic events, and a well-admired ability to host the outside world have always been applauded by travelers. Those who love exploring ancient worlds, the serenity of nature and going through the excitement of life will always want to be part of Sri Lanka holidays.
Home to many of Indonesia’s most prominent cultures, Java is the nation’s centre of civilisation. Whatever is in your list when planning a trip, most likely you’ll find it on this sprawling island.
Costa Del Sol, Spain
Spain’s famous ‘sun coast’ is a chameleonic agglomeration of end-to-end resort towns that were once (hard to believe) mere fishing villages. Development in the last 60 years has been far-reaching and not always subtle, throwing up a disjointed muddle of urbanizaciones, each with its own niche. Marbella is loudly rich and partial to big yachts and golf resorts.
